Founded on 3 February 1947 initially as folder for light entertainment on Lied Der Zeit GmbH, which is the predecessor of Deutsche Schallplatten Berlin.
German label, former pop sub-label of Deutsche Schallplatten Berlin, from 1955 on VEB Deutsche Schallplatten Berlin, was sold to BMG National Berlin in 1994.
