Manhattan Records
Manhattan Records was a division of Capitol Records, Inc., which commercialized and released pop, rock, and dance artists in the 1980s and 1990s. They also release Capitol, EMI America, Liberty and other Capitol EMI-owned labels. Under the direction of Manhattan in 1985, the legendary jazz label Blue Note Records was relaunched as a subsidiary.

In 1985, the label Iceland Records was reformed in a single deal in Manhattan Island Records. Manhattan joined to EMI America in 1987. This version of the label was recorded in September 1988 in Capitol Records and recorded as EMI USA.

2001, Manhattan Records was revived with the latest success, producing contemporary music under the direction of legendary record producer Arif Mardin.
